Around the Cape of GOOD HOPE!

You may recall that some months back I reported here at Dada Headquarters about my departure for Tenureland. I am very relieved to report to you that I made landfall on those happy shores at 8:15 this morning.

Many thanks to all who were lighting candles in prayer for a safe voyage. It worked!

I am indeed happy, glad, elated that you have made it ashore. Those stormy waters are no place for the weak of heart--not that you were ever weak of heart. It's just good to have you with us, safe and sound.

Congratulations! I know it must be a difficult and tough journey. Remember Sally Field's insightful academy award acceptance speech: "You like me, You really like me." That feels good doesn't it?

Congratulations. Do you get a "tenure name" the way Catholics give themselves Confirmation names or Kings and Queens can give themselves new names with which to rule?

If this "tenure name" isn't tryndee, well...I'm a failure as a little purple rabbit.

Congrats!
